AI-Generated Storytelling

We built a platform that generates fully illustrated, personalized children's storybooks using AI — allowing parents to create unique stories featuring their child's name, interests, and favorite settings.

The challenge

Personalized children's books existed but were limited to inserting a name into a pre-written template. Parents wanted stories that truly reflected their child — their hobbies, their pet's name, their favorite places. Creating genuinely custom illustrated books at scale was cost-prohibitive with traditional methods.

What we built

We combined LLM-powered story generation with AI image synthesis to produce fully original stories and illustrations. Parents provide details about their child, choose a theme, and receive a complete illustrated book — each one unique. The system maintains narrative coherence, age-appropriate language, and consistent character illustration across pages.

Results

• Each book generated in under 2 minutes with unique story and illustrations
