We worked with a financial services team to automate their Excel-heavy reporting workflows — eliminating hours of manual data wrangling, formatting, and cross-referencing that consumed their analysts every month.
The challenge
The team received data in dozens of Excel files from different sources, each with inconsistent formatting. Analysts spent the first week of every month consolidating, cleaning, and reformatting data before they could even begin analysis. Formulas broke frequently, and version control was nonexistent.
What we built
We built an automation pipeline that ingests Excel files from any source, normalizes data formats, validates against business rules, and produces clean, analysis-ready workbooks. The system also generates the monthly reports automatically, flagging anomalies for human review.
